"Luftpost" (English "Air Mail") is a single-player reaction game created in 1982 by Bernhard Kirsch for the PET 4032. It contains a built-in manual in German. The binary download includes the compiled version for PET 4032. The original BASIC version is in the source download and may work on lower PET models.

You control the letter you throw out of the airmail helicopter and try to drop it into the chimney. The game controls are as follows:

  • SPACE - Drop the letter.
  • 4 - Move the letter to the left
  • 6 - Move the letter to the right

Note that when using VICE PET, you must use the number keys on the number pad. Regular number keys won't work.

These are the different screens of the game. You can also watch it running on real hardware on YouTube.
